Cargiant are currently recruiting a Facilities Supervisor to work at our business park in Wembley. The key functions of this role are to supervise and instruct the upkeep of the site to a high standard, and to and to manage building refurbishments. As a Facilities Supervisor you will be the main point of contact for clients, tenants and contractors and you will ensure that all requests are dealt with efficiently and accurately. Form of trades background/knowledge is preferred.

What you will do:

  • Demonstrate project-management ability; including experience and estimating project costs, evaluating contract bids, choosing requisitioning tools, parts, materials and supplies
  • Build and manage effective working relationships with key contacts
  • Manage a team of 11 employees at any one time
  • Liaising with key contacts ensuring compliance to Health and Safety guidelines
  • Managing day to day building operational issues
  • Reviewing, updating and communicating policy and procedural change
  • Track building upkeep, improvements and maintenance to ensure they are of a consistent high standard

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of building materials and construction
  • Building compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, budgets, and facilities
  • Background in Electrics or Plumbing (desirable)
