Facilities Operations Manager - Facilities Manager

Facilities Operations Manager / FM with a twist as you will be also organising events for a high profile mixed use estate in central London. As well as commercial office space, the estate also has a number of restaurants, shops and luxury apartment blocks as well as a large communal space used for high profile events. As well as managing the day to day facilities management of the scheme, you will also be organising high profile vents for both the commercial and residential occupiers - brining some sparkle to the development.

Facilities Operations Manager / FM - the role has two main parts:

Facilities Management operations:

  • Principle point of contact for all facilities management issues
  • Assist with preparing service charge budgets, monitoring expenditure, variance reporting and year-end service charge reconciliation
  • Ensure lease compliance across the scheme
  • Procurement and reviewing FM service contracts
  • Health & Safety management & compliance
  • Manage environmental & sustainability policies
  • Ensure effective management of reactive tasks
  • Assist and liaise with building surveyors/architects/consultants on major works.
  • Maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures
  • Manage the regular inspection programme in accordance with site insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the submission of insurance claims
  • Ensure readiness for sale of relevant individual properties dealing with due diligence enquiries on disposal and lettings from a facilities perspective.

Events Management:

  • Working with the Estate Director and Property Manager, act as lead contact and coordinator for marketing, communications and events.
  • Coordinate the events and marketing budget effectively throughout each service charge year. Where possible, raise external revenue through events activities.
  • Engage with potential commercial partners for events, pop-ups and filming opportunities
  • Work with internal and 3rd party agencies to arrange and deliver campaigns successfully
  • Develop and deliver a full annual programme of events to the benefit of the Estate occupiers.
  • Coordinate activity on websites and social media platforms.
