Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Temporary Facilities Manager to join an Events business located in Basingstoke town centre. This role will be for a minimum of 3 months but could be extended.
Responsibilities as a Facilities Manger:
" To co-ordinate repairs to common electrical, mechanical and fabric assets
" To co-ordinate the day to day mechanical and electrical services delivery
" To liaise, inspect and oversee the work of in-house staff and external contractors in relation to building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
" Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation always working to identified control measures, safe working practices in place or identified in risk assessments
" To assist with the safety, security and access control of the buildings and outside spaces as appropriate in conjunction with relevant staff
" To carry out, record, and regularly review departmental risk assessments
" To assist with and update the fire risk assessments as required
" To ensure pre-show and event checks are undertaken ensuring building readiness ahead of all events and performances
Requirments for this position:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Available immediately
- Flexible working approach, times of work could vary depending on events that are running
- Experience managing a maintenance team
This position will be roughly working around 30 hours per week but can vary from week to week. Paying between £9.62 - £13.46 per hour.
