Facilities Manager - Exciting Brand - Job Summary

This is an incredible opportunity for a Facilities Manager who is looking to progress and develop themselves further within an exciting QSR operation. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager and Property team in the maintenance management of the business as well as the delivery of minor capital projects, refurbishments as well as being actively involved in new build projects. The role will be split 70% maintenance and 30% projects and will cover maintenance and reporting, new restaurant delivery and minor refurbishment projects and roll outs.

Facilities Manager - Exciting Brand - Role Responsibility

  • Effectively supporting the business with reactive and planned maintenance
  • Weekly and Periodic reporting
  • Coordination and associated commercial administration
  • Managing inhouse maintenance personnel
  • Managing external contractors and programming of maintenance work
  • Ensure compliances are consistently up to date
  • Management and coordination of small projects, new equipment installations and minor refurbishments
  • Roll outs - Coordination and delivery
  • Liaise with operations, marketing and finance teams as well as external consultants
  • Agree programmes and draw up timelines
  • Report of project status, cost and programme
  • Prepare detailed refurbishment packs for capex approvals
  • Minor refurbishment projects including visibility projects and signage
  • Invoice processing

The ideal candidate will be passionate, tenacious and driven in their approach.

Experience as a Facilities Manager is A MUST.

  • Thorough understanding of the ever changing hospitality market
  • Effective communication skills at all levels within the business as well as externally
  • Planned and organised and proactive with their approach to problem solving
  • Capable of working on their own initiative
  • Experience of working closely within project teams
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchens and AutoCAD experience
