Facilities Manager needed at HMP Garth, 39 hours per week, temporary to permanent contract, £20 per hour
Your new company
You'll be working between both HMP Wymott and HMP Garth for a Facilities Management company that fulfil the Maintenance needs for the Prison Service in the North and Midlands area. Both prisons based in Leyland. HMP Wymott is a category C training prison which holds around 1100 male prisoners. HMP Garth is on the same ground but a separate cater gory B prison which holds around 800 male prisoners.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the works department for the prisons, ensuring that you the team and Supervisors complete planned and scheduled maintenance, this can include an HR issues or roster changes that are required to keep the work being completed in a timely manner. You will need to manage external contractors that may be required on site, cooperate with the prison service to adhere to the health and safety is being adhered too and to perform all necessary reports that are needed. What you'll need to succeed
Experience within managing and leading a delivery team with a Facilities Management background. Being able to demonstrate budgeting skills to understand the business finance in relation to revenue expenditure, cash-flow and overheads.
