Salary: £37,000 - £45,001

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to work on-site in Central London to assist the Estate Manager in the provision of high quality effective management services to the development, working in close conjunction and co-operation with any residents’, committees or associations. This role will be based at a riverside development in the heart of the nine elms regeneration area. With easy access to Vauxhall Underground Station, the development benefits from an on-site gym, swimming pool and underground car park. As the Facilities Manager, you will support the Estate Manager in the provision of high quality effective management services to the development. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of all maintenance service provided and you will ensure the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with all stakeholders including external contractors.

Duties of a Facilities Manager:

The new Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance team along with contractors and technical works. You will take the lead on M&E/ Large Projects, ordering of maintenance stock, risk assessments & Method statements for all contractors. You will also be in charge of work Permits, Signing off works, M&E daily checks (Plant rooms, pump rooms etc.), Work tenders and Leak investigations.

To be successful in this role you will have strong knowledge in all aspects of Health and Safety and RAMS. Skills in budgeting, Contractor management and Staff delegation. You will also be ideally Qualified in both IOSH and NEBOSH

As a person, you will need to be able to demonstrate quality verbal and written communication to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders and handle queries and issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating genuine care and concern. You will have the ability to show sensitivity in dealing with delicate and confidential issues, putting high importance on the needs of all customers; and be able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external parties at all levels to achieve a positive environment.
