Hyperion Partners are proud to be partnering with a prestigious Student Accommodation Provider to recruit an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a growing organisation that prioritises exceptional living standards for students.
The Role
As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of multiple student accommodation sites in London. Your focus will be on ensuring a safe, secure, and high-quality environment for residents while optimising efficiency and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the delivery of all facilities and maintenance services across the portfolio.
- Ensure the properties are fully compliant with health and safety standards, fire regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise asset longevity.
- Manage on-site teams and external contractors, ensuring service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring a high standard of customer service for residents.
- Monitor and manage facilities budgets, driving cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Work closely with the wider operations team to support smooth property management and excellent resident experience.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised individual with a strong background in facilities or property management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience managing facilities within student accommodation, residential property, or a similar environment.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, building compliance, and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets effectively.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Relevant facilities management qualifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or IWFM (desirable).
