Facilities Coordinator - Fixed Term

Leeds - 6 Month Fixed Term contract

We currently have a requirement for a 6 month fixed term Facilities Coordinator.

Working as part of a small but busy Facilities team you will report into the Facilities Manager and be responsible for:

Co-ordinating safety procedures for health and safety, first aid and fire.

Acting as a designated security representative for the Society's offices.

Access control and CCTV.

Car Park Management - Parking permits, spot checks and waiting list management.

Ensuring routine repairs/maintenance items are dealt with promptly and effectively.

Ensuring that all information for contracts is administered correctly and stored/archived appropriately.

Dealing with a range of contractors regarding the maintenance of the office.

Ensuring that all areas of the MPS buildings remain tidy at all times. Liaise with the Heads of Departments if necessary.

Carrying out building inspections.

Covering the duties of reception, post room and meeting room colleagues when required.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have previous facilities experience

  • Previous experience as a facilities coordinator, assistant or adviser would be ideal
  • IOSH and ABIFM or MBIFM would be an advantage but not essential
  • Fire Warden and First Aider training would be an advantage but not essential
  • MS Office skills are required
