Our prestigious client in Guildford is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join their busy and friendly team of 6 to ensure the facilities of their Guildford office run smoothly.
This is a hands on role and you will be kept busy with a number of different tasks which will include liaising with couriers in regards to incoming/outgoing mail, processing cheques and petty cash requests and taking cash to the bank. You will also be required to cover reception when needed which involves meeting and greeting visitors, answering calls in a timely manner and transferring to the correct departments. As part of the facilities team you will help with other areas of the business including archiving, ensuring the tuck shop is stocked and making sure any problems with vending machines, photocopiers and other equipment are escalated to the facilities manager.
You should be a strong team player who is well organised with excellent communication skills and proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office packages.
