Facilities Assistant

6 month FTC
Salary: £27k-£30k

Company: Our client are a well established law firm ased in London who specialise in both business and private client law.

Job description:

  • Cover mail room duties on a daily basis
  • Provide support to all internal clients regarding stationery and other miscellaneous requests as and when required
  • Providing reprographics support for all departments when requested
  • Ordering of stationery, lighting, cash & carry consumables
  • Investigate and respond accordingly to any reports of breakdowns or faults. Contacting & arranging maintenance/repair of services where required.
  • Oversee cleaning standards, liaise with company if issues
  • Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the procurement of consumables, non consumable and general services for all offices.
  • Act as representative when sourcing/agreeing new contracts
  • Assist in planning & execution of office moves within agreed timeframes
  • Manage storeroom, control of rubbish/recycling and kitchen standards
  • Complete H&S inductions for new members of staff ensuring accurate records are kept, supported by the H&S Co-ordinator
  • Travel to other offices to cover

Experience and skills required:

  • Expertise in archiving and scanning
  • Previous experience within a customer service role or office environment
  • 1 year experience working within a facilities role or similar.
  • Previous experience within a legal environment is desirable
  • Excellent organisation capability with the ability to effectively prioritise
  • Client service focused
