A Fabric Showroom Assistant is required by a leading, high end fabrics supply company in Chelsea. The company is very well established and supplies fabrics and textiles to the top end of the interior design and decoration industry. Their fabrics can be found in luxury residential projects as well as high end hotels, private yachts and jets and other projects world wide.
The job role will involve working from the showroom to present the collection of fabrics and textiles to interior designers and other trade businesses. The showroom has a stunning display of fabrics that are used for a variety of interior design purposes. The role will also involve taking calls from clients with fabric enquiries, processing orders, liaising with suppliers, updating the client CRM database and assisting the outside sales reps with samples and sales preparation.
Candidates will need to be happy working in a client facing role as you will be required to meet clients in the showroom to present the collection to them and assist with putting schemes together for the clients interior projects.
Experience of using Word and Excel would also be required.
The Showroom Assistant will also be involved with representing the company at London based interior design events including London Design Week.
The company can offer promotion to other roles within the business as employees develop along with yearly salary reviews.
The role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis. 9am - 5.30pm. No weekends. (apart from industry special events a couple of times a year)
The company also offer 4 weeks holiday a year plus public holidays with an additional week of holiday when the company closes over Christmas and New Year.
Candidates will need some relevant industry experience preferably from within another interior design supply company.
