A Showroom Assistant is required by a luxury, high end fabrics supply company in Chelsea. The company is very well established and supplies fabrics and textiles to the top end of the interior design and decoration industry.
This role is based in an impressive fabric showroom where the full collection is on display. The job role will involve taking calls from clients with fabric enquiries, processing orders, answering client queries regarding products and enter details into the in-house ordering system.
Candidates will also need to be happy working in a client facing role as you will be required to meet clients in the showroom to present the collection to them and to explore their interior project requirements. Great communication skills are important for this role - both face to face and in written form.
You will also need to be IT literate with experience of using Word and Excel and experience of working on social media within a business environment would be a distinct advantage.
Other duties will involve sending samples to clients, managing the diary for the sales representative and assisting with showroom merchandising.
The role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis. 9am - 5.30pm. This is an office and showroom based role located in Chelsea. Candidates will preferably have experience of dealing with high end fabrics preferably in a similar luxury fabric business.
