You will be working for a Integrated Facilities Management service provider with one goal in mind to make your life easier. They believe in increasing efficiency by aligning with you to provide the solutions, support, and Facilities Management services their clients need. You will be working from their Clients site in Warrington as a Building Fabric Maintenance Engineer.
Your new role
You will lead and develop the Maintenance team through effective communication, training and development, ensuring that the staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake key tasks.
You will support and develop a managed and cost effective maintenance programme for the site services buildings, plant, systems and equipment, and provide information for the Site Annual Validation Report. Furthermore you will evaluate customer requirements and produce proposals including cost and timescales whilst monitor the progress of the planned maintenance and remedial works to agree costs and time and ensuring all works are completed to the satisfaction of the customer and regulatory authorities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have the ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety and operational performance. You will have experience of Maintenance Management disciplines and you will be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management. You will have good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills. You must be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels. You will also have ideally a minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent in an M & E discipline.
