Great news! Due to business growth and exciting new clients, ISS is recruiting and we need Fabric Engineers to carry out a range of building maintenance jobs, including plumbing and carpentry related tasks. Even better, a role with us comes with world class training and development opportunities. That’s because we value our teams and want to make sure they’re well rewarded. After all, they’re helping us meet a very ambitious challenge.
At ISS, we want to be the world’s greatest service organisation. How? By working closely with customers and tailoring solutions to their needs. It’s all about the power of the human touch - and you’ll need to have that too. Join us as a Fabric Engineer and in this job you’ll help take our global business even further.
This is a varied role, tackling repairs, alterations and maintenance to building fabric. We’ll give you responsibility for a number of buildings focusing on joinery and plumbing related tasks; you’ll also work on other maintenance jobs, external ground works and new installations. You’ll travel the region and carry out both planned and reactive works, as assigned by the helpdesk. We’ll expect you to use your maintenance skills to fault find and diagnose problems safely. But above all, we want you to provide a great service, to meet our customers’ purpose.
Perhaps you’ve worked in Building Services, Maintenance or Facilities Management? An experienced Fabric Engineer, you will have qualifications in carpentry, joinery or plumbing. Alternatively we’ll consider other trade qualifications with the right experience, for example something construction related such as brickwork or masonry.
While your technical talents are, of course, essential, it’s a professional but friendly approach that makes all the difference.
At ISS, we believe in recognising and rewarding exceptional service. To say thanks for your hard work, we’ll give you a competitive salary, world-class training and development and some of the best company benefits in the industry. That means you’ll have every chance to move forward and excel in your career.
