The Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be required to implement the 7 areas of learning and development through your role. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will need to be full of energy and willing to engage with pupils in creative learning using both the indoor and outdoor space. The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant must have a warm and positive approach with lots of ideas to ensure that learning objectives are exciting and appealing for pupils. In order to be considered all EYFS Teaching Assistant applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification related to Child Care.

The School:

This is a lovely primary school located in Southwark. They accommodate all primary aged pupils and also have an oversubscribed children's centre attached to the setting. Pupils are offered free provision from 2years of age and given that they are left for staff to attend to, all staff need to be qualified in childcare. All staff are supported by SLTs however need to be forward thinking and have the ability to work under pressure using own initiative.
