Monarch Education are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in the Oldbury area. The Headteacher is currently looking to recruit an additional Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within the school's EYFS Provision in a full time role.
The candidate must have experience of working within an Early Years school based setting; ready to support pupils as they begin their journey in Education. The role requires the candidate to be based in the Nursery class of the school; you will be confident supporting pupils 1:1 and larger group settings. Confidence and experience working to the EYFS revised framework is essential for this position; you will have the necessary skills to help guide the children towards a successful transition in to the school and though the Early Years. You will assist the Teacher in providing an exciting learning experience through creative continuous provision; with a strong knowledge of the development areas in the framework. As your role will require you to lead small group phonics sessions; an experience and training in Read Write Inc phonics would be of benefit but is not essential as training can be provided.
It is essential that you hold a Level 3 qualification ins supporting pupils / Early Years / Childhood studies.
