Early Years Foundation Stage - Special Needs Teaching Assistant required to support a pupil part time 1:1
Your new company
A Partnership Primary School in the Nelson area are seeking to appoint a behaviour and SEN specialist Teaching Assistant, on a part time basis to work 1:1 with an EYFS boy with additional needs.
Your new role
This role is starting on the 15th October, and will be continuing for the duration of time that the pupil is with the school. The hours are 1.5-2 hours per morning initially until the pupil settles into school and has an increase in hours to mornings only. Due to the limited hours in this role, this is suited to candidates based in the Nelson Area.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be competent at dealing with challenging behaviour/BESD. Formal Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential. Experience of working with children under 16 is essential. All candidates are subject to a DBS check if not registered with the update service. References must be obtainable.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive rate of pay starting from a minimum of £9 per hour inclusive of holidays.
