EYFS and KS1 Teacher

Principal Teachers are seeking a qualified teacher to commence a full time role at a primary school in the Thirsk area teaching a mixed EYFS and KS1 class. The successful applicant will need to be available to start after the Easter break until the end of the summer term. Although the class is very small, you will be required to differentiate to a high standard to accomodate mixed ages and mixed abilities.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Be able to teach all aspects of the Primary National Curriculum at KS1 level and the EYFS Framework
  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Knowledgeable in your subject area curriculum requirements
  • Experienced in planning and assessing to a high standard

  • Able to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must:

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide 2 teaching references covering the last 2 years
  • Hold a UK Driving License (desirable)
