Our client is a highly successful manufacturer which supplies to over 70 countries and has a clear focus on growing their export market share.
The Export Coordinator will assist the Export Manager by being the liaison between the different sales reps, international customers and the in-house operational departments.
This is a full time position which will be spent 50% in the export department and 50% in the accounts department to start with. We aim for this position to become full time in exports in the next couple of years.
Export / Accounts Responsibilities:
Assisting customers in preparing / consolidating orders
Obtaining shipping quotations and attend queries
Raising export documentation and helping with export administration
Liaising with relevant authorities as required
Assisting accounts receivable, sales support and operational departments as needed
Coordinating export compliance in collaboration with production team
Performing any other duties appropriate to the position and on occasion to support other team
Sending out customer invoices and dispatching statements
Filing of invoices
Banking of Receipts
Required Skills & Knowledge
Ideally have an International Business, or export administration background.
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between teams and also with customers
and colleagues of diverse origins
2nd language is an advantage
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple things at once in a fast-paced environment
Calm and confident with problem solving skills.
Ability to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of all activities
Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
