Our client is a leader in the international forest products trade, headquartered in Boston, USA. It is a family owned business and a subsidiary of the Kraft Group of Companies, with interests in sports and entertainment, real estate, paper & packaging, and forest product trading. The UK office based in Newbury is a satellite office of the parent company.
We are seeking to recruit a motivated Export Coordinator with the drive, intuition, and ability to effectively support the company’s export desks, provide an efficient and prompt service to all with external stakeholders, and assist with the smooth running of the office.
Responsibilities will include distributing documentation to customers, suppliers and third-party contractors in the form of purchase orders, Annex VII’s and shipping schedules, processing documentation using in-house order management systems, running reports, arranging Inspections for CCIC and SGS, and liaising with suppliers and hauliers to investigate extra costs.
You will develop the company’s freight network with both forwarders and carriers to ensure the company secure the best rates available and improve working relationships. Working with the European Trade Director, you will ensure there is freight available for all destinations, update the teams on the status of all European sales and plastics orders and bookings, and monitor bookings for all orders to India, Europe, and China.
