All operational issues to be carried out in accordance with operational guidelines and procedures

2. Proactive promotion and demonstration of excellent customer service at all times

3. Maintain H&S awareness and security of your own work area in line with dept. and corporate procedures

4. Thorough knowledge of local and corporate ISO/Quality Procedures, specifically customer specific process’s

5. Accurate completion of all types of customs paperwork (Import and export customs entries)

6. Effective liaison with other departments

7. Take full financial responsibility for each job - to job cost and invoice and manage daily

8. Ensure company financial regulations are followed and that the correct paperwork (sales, COD, or immediate payment invoices) are raised as necessary.

9. Ensure all distribution / warehouse related matters are carried out in accordance with the import / export procedures.

10. Support junior members of the team in their learning and development

11. Ensure all queries are acted upon immediately and where necessary escalated to Senior Staff

12. Liaison with overseas partners as and when required

13. Demonstrate the necessary level of industry knowledge

14. Must be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of both import and exports customs formalities

15. Must be able to demonstrate innovative thinking and come up with new idea’s to take the department forward

16. Be aware of the companies security procedures
