Key duties will include:
Being the first point of contact for customers.
Taking bookings and keeping customers updated as to when their shipments will arrive.
Dealing with FCL and LCL shipments, ensuring the correct shipment procedures are carried out together with the necessary, accurate documentation to include Bills of Lading and Letters of Credit.
Dealing professionally, effectively and timely with all customer queries and issues.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to display strong customer service skills, good communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to act on your own initiative.
With a proactive approach to your work candidates must have experience working within the shipping or freight forwarding industries with good knowledge of associated exports documentation.
