Experienced Social Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Child Protection Team in Derbyshire. This position requires a social worker who can bring their wealth of experience to the team and hit the ground running.

As a valued member in the team, you will complete pre-birth assessments, take cases from initial child protection conference and progress cases within PLO and court processes. You will also need to have up to date court experience to enable you to take on a complex caseload of child in need, LAC and CP. Previous training and experience of completing pre-birth assessments, working within families where mental health, substance misuse and/or Domestic Abuse features would be desirable. A well-grounded experience of working within LA's, the Assessment Framework and working in partnership with families/multiple agencies is also required.

With your recognised professional qualification in Social Work (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and being HCPC registered, you will play a vital role within the department where your two years plus post qualifying experience will be fully utilised.
