As an experienced recruitment consultant at Hays you'll run your desk like it's your own business, sourcing candidates, winning clients and matching the right candidate to the right job to make fees. Our education business produces some of the regions top recruitment consultants and are continually expanding. They are looking to bring in and nurture a new temporary recruitment consultant to help push the business onto further growth whilst enabling a new recruiter to take their career to the next level.

It's hard work as you'll have to hit both sales and activity targets (and we have high expectations here at Hays) but a career at Hays is extremely rewarding and satisfying, both on a personal and financial perspective.

What you'll need to succeed with us
There's not one typical person that makes a good recruitment consultant. We've got people from all kinds of backgrounds - retail, sales professionals, ex-tradespeople, graduates...

You could have just finished university or be a school leaver, have previous work experience or none at all - we don't care about your background, we're more interested in your potential and your attitude. 

To succeed you'll need to demonstrate that you're sales driven, results-focused, and possess an ambitious drive to succeed. Recruitment is hard work and it takes time and perseverance to achieve results so resilience, persistence and determination is key. You need to be passionate about people, outgoing and confident.
