Experienced Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
£10.57 per hour + holiday pay

My client, a well established manufacturing business based in the Ebbw Vale area, require a part-time purchase ledger clerk for a 6 month temporary assignment. My client is looking for the successful candidate to work 20 hours per week and can be flexible with days/times worked.

You will have previous exposure of dealing with high volume data entry of invoices and associated administration tasks. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a small and friendly accounts team, you will be required to deal with the following:

Key responsibilities will include:

1) Inputting supplier invoices

2) Dealing with supplier queries

3) Statement reconciliations

4) Preparing invoices for payment

5) Bank reconciliations

6) Processing payments

7) Assisting the credit controller with sales invoicing

8) Covering expenses at month end

It is vital you possess strong communication skills and experience of working within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment would be highly advantageous. You will be confident on Microsoft Excel and enjoy working to tight deadlines.
