Our client is growing and their continued success has seen them open a paraplanner position. The role will be based at their Guildford office working alongside a team of paraplanners and administrators. Their existing team are highly qualified and therefore this post does require the successful applicant to be level 6 qualified or as a minimum diploma qualified with AF3. The nature of their work sees them write a lot of pension business, so someone with a pension specialism would be advantageous.
The office CRM system is IRESS so experience of using IRESS is essential. You will need to have excellent report writing skills and attention to detail, with good oral and written communication. Knowledge of taxation with the ability to analyse and prepare CGT and Income tax calculations is a MUST and you need to have a good understanding of Trusts.
The team is looking for a problem solver, someone that can take responsibility and ownership of their own cases and for someone that can work unsupervised.
One of the largest demands of the business is the ongoing servicing of existing clients and therefore they are open to Paraplanners who once chartered, are keen to take a step towards a client facing role and manage existing client reviews.
