EXECUTIVE HEAD CHEF - £50,000 - award winning cuisine -
A great opportunity has arisen for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of this prestigious hotel kitchen. Here they cook for a variety of catering outlets including the award winning a la carte restaurant, the lounge bar and large conference and banqueting facilities.
With a brigade of 10 chefs they prepare modern British cuisine with International influences and everything is made in house to a very high standard. They use fresh, seasonal produce to provide the same level of dining throughout the hotel.
As Executive Head Chef you will have full responsibility for the entire operation which includes overseeing three different kitchens. Although there are two Head Chefs who are successfully running two of the restaurants you will be expected to be hands on where necessary. Approximately 40% of the role will be in the kitchen and 60% will be taking care of the office side of the business including all of the financial administration. The hours will include evenings and weekends.
