Executive Chef - Education - East Anglia - £40-45,000p/a
Our client requires a Executive Chef Manager to run a contract in the provision of high end private education catering. Set up in order to help people meet their full potential, this is a great environment in which to work. They are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager, preferably with a background in private education catering to take up the challenge.
Working on a five days across seven basis, you will be managing a team providing for over 700 pupils and staff at the school. You will be involved in the day to day multi-outlet catering services and extensive hospitality and events on site and work with suitable menus that exceed customer expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure that all health, safety and hygiene standards are met. An experience and knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is essential. Stock control is also in your remit.
Ideally with a minimum of level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, you will have experience of the provision of food to similar volume at Head Chef or Executive Chef Manager level in a large contract catering independant education environment. Candidates with high volume prestige and accoladed hotel experience will also be considered. You will also require high end event experience. You will need to demonstrate a record of success and the drive and desire always increase standards of food and service. You will require up to date references, and a clean DBS check.
Salary and Benefits:
The starting salary for this role is £40 - 45,000, and hours are 5/7 on a rota basis, with additional hours required for for events during evenings and weekends.
