Executive Assistant

Posted 17 February by SYHA

South Yorkshire Housing Association is a housing association with a difference. We don’t just put a roof over people’s heads; we provide a whole range of services for local people including emergency services for homeless people, care homes, employment support and an estate agency. We employ 600 people and turn over £50 million each year.

The current postholder is retiring after 17 very successful years. We now need a new EA to provide an exceptional service for the CEO and Directors. Your work will include minute-taking and report writing, creating presentations, and keeping a motley, but very friendly, crew in line! You will be supported in this by two brilliant secretaries, whom you will line manage.

There is plenty of opportunity to develop this role. We are overhauling our approach to governance, and you can help to lead this. Modernising our approach to the digital agenda, for example, is a key strategic objective.

Whether you are an experienced EA/PA or on your way to a leadership position, this could be the next right step for you. We can offer you flexible working and the opportunity to work from home at hours to suit you for up to half your working week. For the other half you will be with us in our beautiful Rockingham Street home. Check it out on the website. You will find videos and a careers page on there too. There is also loads of information about our services, values and people on social media

SYHA is very serious about inclusion and diversity. We know we can do better to ensure our staff reflect the communities we serve, and this will be at the front of our minds as we recruit to this post.
