Executive Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and impeccably organised Executive Assistant to join the Land Outdoors and Nature (LON) team in a proactive and challenging role. You will play a critical role in overall support and management assistance, and the impact you have in the leadership community won’t go unnoticed. In this position, you will enjoy a varied role and a great range of interactions on a daily basis.

Whatever you find yourself focusing on, it will be aimed at delivering the highest quality service. You’ll provide executive support in a one-on-one working relationship with the Director of LON and also work closely with other Director’s Assistants and Senior Business Coordinators.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be tasked to manage and prioritise the Directors workload working in an assertive, professional and confidential manner. You will provide complex diary management, prepare reports, organise meetings and arrange travel logistics with other ad hoc duties as required.

You'll have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities. You’ll be the first point of contact, internally and externally, with a responsibility to maintain and enhance the reputation of LON and the Trust as a whole.

This role will require national travel on a regular basis.

Who we're looking for

You’ll have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

In order to hit the ground running you’ll need to;

  • Have experience as an executive personal assistant
  • Demonstrate your capability of working with senior members of staff
  • Work with a wide range of tasks and people on a daily basis
  • Be highly organised with exceptional eye for detail
  • Be approachable, flexible and professional
  • Expert in Microsoft office skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Keen interest and understanding of the Trust and our Land Outdoor and Nature programme
