Executive Assistant

EA to the Vice Chancellor to start immediately

Hays Office Support are pleased to be working in partnership with our client to appoint a temporary Executive Assistant on a temporary basis for a minimum of 4 weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a strategic and successful Vice Chancellor in order to ensure that the Vice-Chancellor and the senior team receive effective support in delivering their roles across the broad spectrum of internal and external interests.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • To co-ordinate and manage the admin team within to ensure a high-level support is provided to VCO.
  • A pivotal role involving the strategic and pro-active management of resources and infrastructure within the VCO; the conduit between VCO members and the wider to co-ordinate and bring together individual portfolio actions.
  • To provide a high level of communication to all internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, providing strategic influential support; with effective anticipation, forward planning, organisation and control.
  • To develop, manage and control the balance between providing a welcoming environment and that of confidentiality and sensitivity.


Your responsibility will split within various areas including;

  • People Management

  • Financial Management
  • Project Management

This is a full time vacancy based in Birmingham and looking for a an individual who has the relevant experience with a flexible approach.
