Executive Assistant to International Director- South Birmingham

Our client is a global brand based in South Birmingham looking to recruit a commercially astute and business savvy EA to support their International Director. This is an all encompassing role working in a global HR environment. The role will entail:

  • Complex diary management and the organisation and coordination of meetings, conferences and events as necessary.

  • Managing high volume, complex overseas and domestic travel arrangements, including flight schedules, visa preparation, transport and accommodation arrangements, liaising with local contacts as necessary.

  • Extensive travel of Director - ability to manage, prioritise and make decisions on behalf of Director remotely.

  • Manage expense claims via a web based system

  • Organising and supporting the Director, which includes meeting set up, note-taking and action tracking.

  • Dealing with incoming calls, emails and post, including unsolicited calls to the Finance Director (acting as the gate-keeper)

  • Produce Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations; ensure the timely and high quality production and presentation of all documents for the Finance Director.

  • Develop and maintain an electronic and paper filing system which ensures easy retrieval of required documents/information.

  • Assist in the delivery of key activities and projects as required.

Applicants will have previous PA experience working at Director level. Exposure at an international level or to finance would be ideal although not essential.
