Reed are proud to recruit for a prestigious and well known employer, who need sharp minds that can concentrate for long periods, a few times a year (roughly March, June and December).
As part of a team you will be using your attention to detail and concentration to check simple written work. The job requires excellent concentration, as you will typically be checking the same kind of work throughout the day, and your standards need to be high throughout. While the job is challenging, if you reach a good standard (with the support of your team) you may well find that the day flies by.
If you find satisfaction in doing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately this role is perfect for you. People from an education background such as former or current teachers, postgraduate students and people with languages experience are particularly well-suited. We will consider other applicants, should you be able to give examples of high levels attention to detail, concentration and work ethic in your previous work or education experience.
Due to the irregular nature of the work this job is best suited to those who are available / looking for occasional short term work on an ongoing basis, rather than those currently looking for full time / long term employment.
This work is available 3 times a year – Spring, Summer and Winter. We are currently recruiting for this Winter, but should you do well and enjoy the job this Winter you will get further opportunities at future sessions, for instance the next Summer session where there will be more work available (May – July).
This Winter, available shifts are likely to be between November, December and Januray.
The hours of work are 8am - 4.30pm, save for Fridays when you would finish at 3.30pm.
