Events Team Administrator:A positive, enthusiastic and experienced Administrator is required to join the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), an industry body for the UK private equity and venture capital industry.
With more than 700 member firms our role is to organise high quality events to inform and engage. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant events team and an organisation with over 35 years’ experience representing the private equity industry to parliament, the European Commission, the media, regulatory and other statutory bodies at home, across Europe and around the world.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Events Management. You will be highly organised and experienced at administration, we can teach you the rest. We are a busy team running over 100 prestigious events per year, this role is pivotal to the team’s success. Whilst you will normally work office hours, there will be occasions when attending events, additional hours are required.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative experience. The events team run over 100 events per year and the Events Team Administrator is a hands-on and invaluable support role to ensure these events are managed and delivered at the highest level.
The role is based in central London but will include occasional travel within the UK and will require the candidate to be flexible with regards to working hours leading up to, and during, the events; usually outside of the normal 9am - 5.30pm working day. The role will require the candidate to work with the Events Manager, Senior Events Executive and the wider BVCA events team to ensure the smooth delivery of the BVCA events programme.
You will be responsible for managing the pre and post events administration, occasionally assisting onsite at events, managing the CRM database and updated the website amongst other daily administrative tasks. This is an incredibly exciting role for someone who wishes to learn and progress in the events industry.
