Marketing Executive - Events - £30k - London

Events Marketing Executive will work on the planning and campaign delivery across a varied portfoio of events, ensuring that registration/attendee and awards entries targets are consistently met or exceeded. Events include: awards, summits, breakfast briefings and webinars.

The Events Marketing Executive will also work closely with each brand’s commercial teams providing marketing support and making sure that table sales targets are met or exceeded. The Events Marketing Executive will also take the lead on the development and planning of the events, working closely with other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of each event, contribute new ideas and foster collaboration and communication between departments.

Role purpose:

Meet or exceed revenue and delegate/ awards registration targets for each event

Provide support to the commercial teams to help them meet or exceed awards tables sales targets

Collaborate with other departments to develop and grow each event portfolio

Work with Head of Membership Marketing & Head of Events Marketing to identify and maximise membership lead generation opportunities within the events campaigns

Responsibilities:

Management and execution of marketing campaigns across each portfolio of events

Manage the planning process for each event, ensuring collaboration and communication across all departments to ensure a successful launch that is delivered on time

Write a comprehensive marketing plan for each event, detailing all event campaign activity and registrations/ entries tracking, presenting it to key stakeholders as and when required

Identify and action new opportunities to drive marketing best practice and innovation across the portfolio

Proactive database development to support individual marketing campaigns and long term audience development

Brief in and manage all event design requirements, ensuring that marketing collateral meets each brand’s guidelines

Maximise opportunities to improve marketing processes and activity, such as email automation and dynamic content

Carry out post event research and analysis for each event and circulate a post event marketing report to key event stakeholders

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ marketing experience, ideally within a B2B events environment
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Pro-active and able to problem solve independently
Passionate about success and delivering consistently excellent results
Excellent organisational skills

Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong creative writing skills
Strong maths and analytical abilities
Strong Excel skills
Able to bring new ideas on board
Able to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
