Remote based within easy commute to High Wycombe and Ruislip

Part time, 15 hours pw

LAH provide front of house receptionists, lifestyle managers and marketing representatives for premium commercial office schemes, working with Landlords, Investors and Property Management Companies. We’ve been established for over 35 years and as an independent, nationwide business, we recognise the importance of everyone who works for us.

What we’re looking for

We have a new opportunity for an Events and Marketing Assistant, reporting to our Head of Wellbeing and Events. This is an amazing role, offering variety and responsibility.

You’ll be involved with planning and launch of seasonal events and initiatives to help create a real community vibe at 2 business parks. You’ll be creative, social media 'savvy’ and will enjoy building relationships with key stakeholders and everyone working at the business parks.

You will divide your time between remote working and being based at the business parks (2-3 times each week), - so you’ll live within an easy commute to High Wycombe and Ruislip.

You’ll be self motivated, results driven and able to confidently work independently.

Initially working 15 hours pw, Monday - Friday, but with flexibility to develop the role and increase hours.

What you’ll be doing

Events and Communication

  • You will assist in the development, planning and running of a programme of seasonal events, giveaways, workshops, and pop-up activity (both online and offline) to promote sustainability, wellbeing, charity partnerships, fundraising, and the wider community.
  • You will be working closely with the Head of Events and Wellbeing, presenting ideas and best practice opportunities.
  • You will help to source relevant offers with local companies along with building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • You will assist in producing promotional material to communicate and support any events and initiatives, - working with external agencies to ensure content and brand cohesion.
  • You will monitor uptake of events and report participation and feedback. You will seek input from everyone working at the business parks for future events and activities.
  • You will assist in the production of regular communication (e.g. a newsletter/magazine) supporting key activities and topical messages and manage the newsletter distribution list
  • You will contribute to any amendments to the website and events platform with regular updates and newsworthy items.
  • You will engage in agreed social media including the uploading and management of video content on YouTube.
  • Assist in the design and collection of an annual tenant feedback survey, including encouraging tenants to participate and analysis of results.

Relationships

  • You will assist in building the workplace community through various events and promotions, including relevant charity involvement.
  • You will help to foster relationships with those working at the business park and key stakeholders, both in-person and via email.
  • You will ensure the Park always presents well and communicate any concerns or useful insights to the Head of Events and Wellbeing.

Background & Experience

  • Events or marketing background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient in all Microsoft Office programs, Apps and social media (within a commercial environment)

  • Comfortable working both remote/at 2 locations - 2/3 times per week

  • The role could suit someone returning to work with experience from a previous role or a professional looking for a work/life balance to fit with family and lifestyle.
  • Responsibilities and job content may change as the role develops with the likely opportunity to work more hours and progress within the business (potentially up to 30 hours over 12 months)

Salary and Package

  • Salary £10140 (£13ph)
  • Monday to Friday, 15 hours pw (Flexibility around start/finish times)
