Events Manager - 5 star resort

Our client, a worldwide Luxury hotel brand, are presently seeking an experience Events Manager to join their team at their Ascot location.

The scope of the role includes:

Managing, leading and motivating the events team to provide consistently outstanding service to it's guests. To oversee and manage all Events and Group business optimising the opportunity for onwards business. To act as an ambassador of the hotel with colleagues, guests and suppliers, looking after all aspects of a group stay or Event Experience including corporate and marquee events.

Main duties:

- To oversee management of all Events and Groups business to ensure a 5* service

- To work closely with the Group & Events Sales Team and Sales Team to maximise business profit

- To mobilize and inspire team members to build a high performing team in order to achieve business goals and service standards

Requirements for the role:

- Highly developed inter-personal skills

- Ability to develop rapport with all guests and staff accordingly

- Proven track record in Events Management

- Previous 4* or 5* experience in an events role

- Good analytical and numeric skills

- Strong decision making and excellent communication skills

- Highly computer literate

- Expert knowledge of hotel systems (Opera and Delphi)

- Driven by service excellence

- Due to location and hours applicants must have their own transport
