Your new company is an award winning and well established organisation based in Crewe who are seeking an experienced Events and Communications Coordinator to join their expanding marketing team on a full time, permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role you will plan, deliver and coordinate an extensive events calendar which includes exhibition attendance, round tables, awards and internal events including staff well being and social events. You will plan and execute events alongside directing external agencies to support their efficient delivery. This includes organisation of exhibition space, stand design, ordering and delivery of collateral and attendance as a company representative. You will also take ownership of award submissions to ensure the company is represented at key industry events and awards including preparation of applications, researching relevant awards and arranging company representation at award ceremonies to collect and present awards. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of internal communications within the organisation in order to promote key campaigns and messages.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have prior demonstrable experience in a similar role where you have held responsibility for organising large corporate events and exhibitions. You will also have experience of delivering internal communications. You will have excellent grammar, spelling and communication skills and a high degree of organisation with the ability to multi task and prioritise multiple projects. You will have a positive attitude and be able to work well collectively within a busy team.
