I am currently recruiting for an Events Executive to join a leading Health-care company based in Yorkshire & Humber region.

My client have made significant investment into their Marketing and Communications team and are bow looking for an Events Executive to drive this element of their business.

They are looking for an outgoing and efficient person with experience in developing networking events for external stakeholders. You must have good organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Two key areas to develop:

  • Regional networking events for external stakeholders
  • Internal events coordination to support two national awareness days across all of their homes


Work with the Marketing and Customer Engagement team to develop a range of events for regional stakeholders and internal staff.

You will plan events from start to finish - sourcing speakers, coordinating suppliers, managing your own budget, making venue bookings correctly and distributing and following up on event invitations as well as running the event on the day.

You will work with the marketing team to promote the events internally and externally. You will produce post-event evaluations to inform future events and take the lead on researching opportunities for new event topics and venues.

You must be happy to travel as your role will be to cover the onsite management of events in all regions they cover.


  • Excellent research, sales and organisational skills are a must for this job.
  • Experience in healthcare events is advantageous.
  • You must have meticulous attention to detail, the ability to use your initiative and the confident to know when to ask for help.

Working hours

16 - 24 hours per week

You'll generally work normal office hours in the lead up to an event. However, you will need to work some evenings (1 - 2 per month) and weekends (2 per year) the time of the events. Some home working is likely to be included in this role.
