Events Executive

Working for an award winning "Britain's top employer". This company is a market leader within the pharmaceutical sector. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Coordinator/ Events manager to join the UK head office operations team based in the South Manchester area. The salary is up to £28000.

· To provide end to end administration support to the Professional Relations events programme
· Work to the delivery of high quality customer focused experiences which complement our sales driven customer focused organisational goals
· Work closely with the Senior Professional Relations Manager, to co-ordinate the events and exhibition programme.
· Ensure that all documentation and collateral is fully approved
· Carry out appropriate due diligence checks
· Order materials from distributors ahead of time and appropriate for the event type
· Liaise with the Field Force via email and phone
· Attend events as and where required
· Collate monthly reports as required
· Support in the establishment of a programme of key events, gaining internal support, whilst also ensuring the needs of business and the customers are met
· Track spend, ensuring in line with budget whilst also ensuring measuring the return on investment
· Provide ad hoc support to the wider Commercial Department as required
· Raise purchase requests on SAP
· Develop and implement trackers and procedures for core administration/support activities for all events
· Support co-ordination and production of material for events.
· Working with creative agencies to develop appropriate meetings materials and branding
· Working with Health Care Organisations to deliver bespoke educational meetings


Essential Skills & Experience

· Strong ability to prioritise
· Previous experience managing a complex workload
· Excellent organisational, time-management and project management skills
· Accuracy is essential
· Experience of event co-ordination and / or planning
· Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Experience gained from a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry would be preferred
· Experience of dealing with budgets
