An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company as the Project Assistant on a permanent full time basis.

The company is located on the outskirts of Banbury. The business is located in the picturesque and idyllic settings of the countryside. The surrounding beautiful countryside can be made use of during sunny lunch breaks.

The purpose of the role is to assist the project managers on various different accounts from conception to completion. To generally assist with the planning of a series of events and projects to ensure their completed to an exceptional standard. You will provide a unique and outstanding level of customer service throughout the process. You will carry out site inspections whilst building and maintaining relationships with hotels, venues, contractors and suppliers. You will manage all freelance staff, deliver events on site to an impeccable standard. You will liaise and negotiate with suppliers regularly as well as assisting with financial input to the budget. Also any other ad-hoc duties as and when requested.

Predominantly you will be for all coordination and planning of events and projects across the board.

Experience of 2 years with an event management role and ideally in the corporate events sector. If you have previous experience working within the agency side of events this will be advantageous. Also 2 years’ experience of conference production, delegate management and multi-disciplined live events. These events will include awards ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches and board meetings. You will be exceptionally organised and be able to plan to a high standard.

You will have excellent communications skills, able to work well under pressure. You will often be spinning more than one plate and need to be able to do this well. Good computer skills, Microsoft package, you will be able to work alone and well as part of a team. Previous of experience of automotive events would be beneficial but is not essential. You will work full time Monday to Friday, but need to be flexible with evenings and weekends as and when. You will also be required to travel within the UK.
