Our well established, industry leading client has an opportunity for an Events Coordinator, to join their Marketing and Communications Department. Your main responsibilities will be to administer, coordinate and support UK and worldwide events. Assisting with the planning, implementation, communication, success and post analysis of the events.
Some of your duties will include:
*Communicate effectively with external suppliers such as the event agencies, creative agencies, hotels, venues, photographers
*Work with internal teams to help deliver internal events
*Support the planning, coordination and delivery of the Annual Convention
*Venue and supplier research
*Manage small event projects from initial concepts through to implementation
*Generate ideas and concepts for relevant event projects
*Keep up to date with trends, new venues and entertainment, while building a network of key suppliers.
You will have the below skills/experience:
*Previous event management experience
*Full driving licence and use of a car
*Knowledge and experience of the various aspects of the event industry
*Experience of event project management
*Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies
*Ability to deliver multiple projects and challenges to meet tight deadlines
*Structured and disciplined approach
*The ability to travel and stay overnight for up to 5 days at a time throughout the year
*Close attention to detail
*Budget management experience
*IT literate and have knowledge of Word and Excel
