Events Company Marketing Manager Job London

A client of GreycoatLumleys are now looking to recruit a new Marketing Manager for their top Events Company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building an annual marketing programme to support the realisation of the commercial goals of the business for both events and special projects such as our seasonal rooftop bar
  • Working with the Commercial Director (with input from the Head Of Sales and Head Of Business Development) to define targets and develop specific programmes for live event agencies, other agents and event teams within specific vertical markets
  • Writing creative briefs and managing our creative agency to ensure the timely delivery of marketing collateral such as brochures, proposal documents, case studies, invitations, promotional items, exhibition graphics and advertising
  • Organising and managing client hospitality events in conjunction with the sales and operations team, our in-house catering team or external vendors, as required
  • Tracking and measuring the effectiveness of the marketing plan (ROI, reach, impact, NPS) so that it can be refined and optimised on an ongoing basis
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Managing and trafficking daily/weekly/monthly updates
  • Coordinating timely, contextual social media updates in conjunction with the PR & Content Manager
  • Supporting clients with the marketing of their events, especially those in which we have joint ventured, invested in or partnered
  • Working in conjunction with Commercial Director to develop promotion and marketing support for ticketing platform and events we are diving ticket revenue for
  • Managing, directing and mentoring the PR & Content Manager

Key Skills & Experience

  • Successful candidate is likely to have at least 5 years marketing experience in the events sector for a venue, agency, brand or client organisation
  • Ambitious, confident and looking for the next career move

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Superior communication skills both written and oral
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Commercially aware and customer-focused
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to earn respect of both clients and colleagues
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and email campaign software e.g MailChimp skills
  • Adobe CS skills an advantage
