My client, a renowned, large and prestigious organisation, with lovely offices based in the heart of the City, seek an Events Assistant for a fixed term maternity contract… This will be for a minimum of 9 months, most likely longer.
In this busy and dynamic role, within a large events department, the events assistant will be responsible for;
Department customer service
Database management / administration
Dealing with departmental queries
On the day event support including; meet / greeting delegates and guests, liaising with caterers, AV suppliers and general assistance to the Events Manager throughout the day.
The Events Assistant will be working in an exceptionally large events department, so there are likely to be plenty of internal opportunities to explore.
The ideal candidate for the events assistant role will have had some admin-based experience, an events background is preferred but not essential. Customer service is essential as you will be at the forefront of all events, providing an on the day presence during registration and regularly dealing with queries by phone, email and in person. Database experience would be preferred but again is not essential.
Starting salary up to 21K
