Events Apprentice

A well established business membership organisation is currently looking for an Events Apprentice to join their team of 3. This is a newly created role and comes with an excellent benefits package, plus the opportunity to be part of a fantastic company and team.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance under the direction of the Events Director and Events team :

• Intensive data management, recording, coding and inputting
• Information sourcing and gathering
• Drafting and distribution of email reminders
• Preparation of badges, delegate packs, name plates, list of attendees, addendums
• Distribution of delegates’ information packs
• Phone calls and emails to chase for required information from delegates, exhibitors and speakers
• Some phone calls to encourage delegate bookings at the conferences
• Design and produce PowerPoint slides
• Phone calls to ensure strong attendance at London First events

• Assist with the set-up of the venue
• Assist with the registration desk, help desk and Q&A sessions
• Generally assist with the smooth running of the event

The successful candidate will posses the following:

• Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Well presented
• Relevant experience
• Ability to multi-task, with strong attention to detail, and able to operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
• Team player
• IT literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills/experience 

CRM exposure would be an added bonus, but training will be provided for this that do not have experience with this.
