Events Account Executive Job London

Our Clients are now recruiting an ambitious, organized Events Account Executive to respond to the enquiries and lead the sales process for all Event bookings. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, results-orientated team of 6.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to enquiries via phone and email in an efficient and timely manner
  • Entering enquiries accurately on to the venue’s CRM and diary system (Priava)
  • Creating and sending fully costed proposals promptly and following up to secure the business
  • Selling to the capacities of the areas to maximise yield and revenue
  • Arranging and conducting site visits for clients with varying levels of experience from PAs to C-suite executives
  • Negotiating contract terms with clients with support from Head Of Sales and Commercial Director as required
  • Preparing and issuing of venue hire/package contracts
  • Proactively building relationships with clients to maximise revenue generation, gross profit and repeat business
  • Contributing to the Event marketing strategy and plan
  • Developing an excellent knowledge of local market and key verticals and implementing a prospecting plan to generate new business
  • Assist with and participate in hospitality, trade show and industry networking events and maximise return on investment
  • Liaising with and recommending approved suppliers and assisting with defining clients’ requirements as necessary
  • Preparing event sheets to capture all client timings and requirements and brief the event manager who will look after the client on the day

Key Skills & Experience


The successful candidate is likely to have at least 18 months experience of event venue sales or relevant industry sales experience

  • Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets
  • Ambitious, confident and looking for the next career move
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Numerate and ability to understand sales targets and gross profit calculations
  • Literate - demonstrable ability to write compelling, persuasive and accurate emails and proposals
  • Strong influencing, negotiating and closing skills
  • Commercially aware and customer-focused
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to earn respect of both clients and colleagues
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of Priava (venue booking & CRM software) beneficial


Salary: c. £25K-£28k according to experience + generous commission package OTE c. £35-38K + benefits including contributory pension, retail discounts, company socials, interest-free season ticket loan, free tickets to events and more.
