Title: Event Sales Executive
Report to: Head of Events
Location: Head Office, Wilmslow
Salary: £21,000 basic, with uncapped commission and quarterly bonus!
Join an exciting department which is rapidly expanding! Our busy team of 7 arrange over 300 events across the UK and Northern Ireland every year. SME and LME business owners and leaders enjoy these free workshops, which provide them with essential news and updates on HR and Health & Safety, that they need to know to run their organisations and look after their employees.
This role is a perfect hybrid of face to face and telephone marketing, events and sales. The perfect candidate will have:
* Persuasive marketing skills to telephone senior level decision makers and encourage them to attend our events
* Strong interpersonal skills to meet event attendees and fact find about their organisations
* Excellent sales skills to follow-up with event attendees and arrange one-to-one consultations with them and our HR and Health & Safety expert, at their premises
* Demonstrable B2B Outbound Telesales/Lead Generation background
* Structured sales approach with strong objection handling skills
* Excellent communication skills with impeccable telephone manner
* Influencing skills, confident with questioning and prospecting
* Team player with ability to shine as an individual
