Location: Various locations in Scotland incl. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, and Dumbarton

Salary: Hourly rates starting from £10.00 including Holiday Pay

Dates: Shifts available from 25th October to 11th November

Shift lengths - 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights available)

Event Overview:

Our client is an events company specialising in venue & stadia management. They are recruiting casual staff to join their team to support the UN Climate change conference 'COP26’ in Scotland, which will be attended by 30,000 delegates and leaders from 197 countries including Queen Elizabeth II.

Overview of the Event Marshal role:

They have exciting opportunities working as an Event Marshal at various locations across Scotland including, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, and Dumbarton starting from the 25th October. Your role will be to ensure that we provide a smooth and safe passage for the delegates and world leaders to arrive each venue. As an Event Marshal, you will be checking passes, directing cars, and supporting road/footpath closures, therefore it is important that you make the right impression, not only to the delegates but also the general public.

Requirements of an Event Marshal:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Happy to work outdoors (rain, snow or shine)
  • Exceptional Customer service skills
