A well-established marketing organisation are looking to find an Event Executive with professional enthusiasm, to add to their busy marketing team.
The company specialise in events and conferences across a number of interesting sectors, held in a variety of different countries.
It is crucial that applicants have some previous experience of working on conferences, exhibitions or hotel events, although individuals with 6 months+ experience could be considered.
This role will be very much focused on the front end, client-facing logistics part of the event lifecycle, as well as associated admin, in the lead up to, during and following each event.
Duties will include:
- Liaising with Venues, Speakers, Sponsors, Delegates and internal teams, ensuring all are fully briefed
- Consulting suppliers in regards to requirements and payments
- Visiting London sites where necessary
- Booking accommodation
- Acting as a main point of contact for delegates
- Ensuring smooth setup at events
- Post conference administration
You will need to be a proactive individual, able to manage fast-moving scenarios and deliver excellent customer service to attendees, sponsors and speakers alike.
Good MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills will be needed.
The company offices are ideally located in Central London and has great links to public transport.
This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of up to £25,000 per annum dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience. There is possibly some room for negotiation on the salary for an individual with strong, relevant experience.
