Evening Care Assistant (Drivers Only)

Posted 24 October by UKjobsinCare Ltd

Are you looking to pick up some extra hours in the evening to fit around another job or your partner's role? Our client is looking for a Care Assistant who wants to work evenings and every other weekend, starting between 4 and 6 pm.

The Care Assistants of our client, a leading home care provider, are incredibly happy. Why are they so happy? Because this home care provider knows what’s important and gives their staff the recognition the Care Assistants deserve and the support they need. Please remember that as a Care Assistant in the community you MUST be able to drive and have access to your own car.

So, what is important to Care Assistants? They asked their staff and this is what they said:

1. Salary and Travel Time

They pay their Care Assistants some of the leading rates in the area. They also provide pay increases after your 1st year! They also pay travel time. A Care Assistant should never be out of pocket at work and that’s why they pay £8.21 travel time per hour - this can add up to 20% to your monthly pay.

2. Flexibility

This home care provider has part time and full time work available. Mornings, evenings and weekends - they have positions to suit everyone’s needs.
